| Fireflies come out once a year to mate. When they do so, they produce the familiar light on their bodies. Four years ago, when I was jogging in the forest along our Lech at 9:30 pm, I noticed them for the first time. First there was one, which I watched in awe, then two and then more and more. | Glühwürmchen kommen einmal im Jahr raus, um sich zu paaren. Dabei erzeugen sie das bekannte Licht an ihrem Körper. Also ich vor vier Jahren um 21:30 Uhr an unserem Lech im Wald Joggen war, sind sie mir das erste mal so richtig aufgefallen. Erst war es einer, den ich voller Bewunderung beobachtet habe, dann zwei und dann immer mehr. |

There is hardly a more beautiful natural spectacle in Germany. | Wer also die Chance hat, heute an einem Stück natur oder im Wald zur Dämmerung Spazieren zu gehen, sollte das machen. Ein schöneres Naturschauspiel in Deutschland gibt es fast nicht. |
