Crabs!!!
No, no, no not those crabs!!
Ye silly buggers.
It was positively scaldy here in Ireland yesterday and Galway like most placed basked in delicious sun.
What do we do when the sun shines?
The beach of course.
The great thing about this beach is that while thousands thronged the city beaches, we knew about a little known sandy beach off the beaten track, but still only 25 minutes from our house, so off we went with Esky and picnic and beach toys.
If there's one thing the boys love, it's the rock pools and little fishing nets.
They caught some little fish, some jelly fish and some crabs.
Like all the fish the boys catch, none are harmed and all are released, like this crab here.
When I released him I was also standing on this rock. It's a good job he wasn't the vengeful sort!
He had a look and then clamoured sideways back into the water.
Funky looking little dude.
The boys found them a bit scary, so I didn't show my youngest this close up.
It looks like an alien from a movie. Maybe this is where film makers get their ideas from?
A nice flask of tea is always good! A cup would have been enough, but I made a flask so that I could have a few cups throughout the day.
Thanks as always for stopping by everyone
Peace Out
