Winter Golf
Winter golf is tough at the best of times, but the rain recently means that most courses are completely saturated.

My own local course was closed recently, but a good friend of mine was home from Bermuda visiting his Mum in Galway and I wanted to get out for a round with him.

I had some green fee vouchers for another course called Bearna golf course that's almost always open regardless of the weather, so we went for a round there instead.

The place wasn't exactly in perfect playing condition, but we got 18 holes in and had a great catch up and went for a couple of pints and a steak sandwich afterwards, which hit the spot nicely.

I do love golf, so even though Winter golf is challenging, It still beats no golf, so every winter I still play without fail.
I guess we're lucky in Ireland that you can play through the Winter, as I know there are some countries where you can't due to snow and frost.

This gorgeous rainbow appeared overhead as we played onenof the holes on the front nine.

To be fair, given the weather that has been landing recently, the course was actually in good knick.

Not a disgrace of a scorecard in the end. I'm in column B and also broke 90. I went around in 90 hits of the ball and that's with 2 lost balls and consequently 3 penalty strokes.

Thanks as always for stopping by everyone
Peace Out
