RE: I'm trying to buy some SUSHI but I'm vegan. Any suggestions?

I don't have a good feeling on that one, what is the value this thing brings to the world?

Well, that's a very good question we need to ask. Prima facie, it seems to me that they are improving upon the Uniswap design by adding community feature (whatever that is!) etc. Setting aside 10% of token emission for development fund makes me think that there will be some more developers dedicated to improve this protocol. Even if they don't, it's always good to have more options in the market. I don't think bringing new liquidity will be a constraint for new platforms esp. when they are better incentivizing liquidity providers.

If you ask me, I just wanted to reap some early mover advantage. They have set the block rewards to 10x for first 100000 blocks before they migrate the liquidity to their new interface. So in case, you don't want to move your liquidity out of Uniswap, you can still stake your LP tokens for 2 weeks to earn some SUSHI and then unstake. And I chose SUSHI-ETH pair where they are currently offering twice the SUSHI rewards.

I also considered that SUSHI isn't listed anywhere else so all transactions will occur in SUSHI-ETH pair on Uniswap for 2 weeks and that will bring in a good amount of trading fee for me (provided liquidity doesn't increase in that proportion ;)). And may be in 2-3 weeks they get their smart contracts audited, which may boost the token prices further. So yeah, it's more of a gamble for me. :)
