Today is the day, today is the day! In my latest podcast, I had the privilege of sitting down with the legendary @crimsonclad, a Web3 expert and core member of the HIVE Blockchain, to gain a deeper understanding of HIVE.
We talked about the number of hours people spend online, scrolling, posting, and creating, but never stopping for a moment to ask ourselves where all that value actually goes. In a Web2 world, the answer is simple, it goes to the platforms. They monetize our attention, our time, and our data. In many ways, we have become the product.
In that sense, Crimsonclad shed some light on how HIVE creates a space where we can own our online voice, our identity, and the value we produce. Unlike traditional platforms, Hive cannot simply demonetize or delete you because your opinion does not align with someone else’s preferences or a company’s agenda. Of course, it is not a lawless place; it is a community-driven ecosystem where responsibility is shared rather than concentrated.
This was not just a conversation about technology, but a conversation that invites us to rethink how we show up in the digital world and what it means to take ownership of our identity, our time, and our voice, and the opportunities HIVE offers to the world.
If you know someone who is still sitting on the fence, share this episode with them. Crimsonclad offers the clarity that helps make sense of Web3 and HIVE in a way few others can.
