Hello @everyone, greetings to all from @theindicators. How are you doing today I hope all are fine and I'm also good 👍
This evening felt different… truly something special. When someone suddenly said, “The moon has been sighted!” 💫
It’s not just news… it’s a feeling. A sign of a new beginning, and the first glimpse of happiness that comes with Eid al-Fitr.
Honestly, every year, there’s something magical about looking for the moon. Today, when I went up to the roof, the sky was a bit hazy. At first, nothing was visible… and then suddenly, a soft light appeared—that thin crescent 🌙
The peace I felt in that moment is hard to describe in words.
It reminded me of childhood… when all of us kids would run around on the roof, pointing in different directions, calling out, “Look here! Look there!” 😄 And the moment someone spotted the moon, everyone would start congratulating each other with excitement. Back then, there were no worries… just pure happiness.
Today, I felt that same emotion again… but with a little more understanding. The whole month of Ramadan is spent in عبادت (worship), fasting, patience, and self-control. And when the moon is finally sighted, it feels like Allah has accepted our efforts. It doesn’t feel like just a festival—it feels like a reward.
To be honest, my own routine this Ramadan was a bit mixed. Some fasts felt easy, others were difficult… some days I felt tired, and other days I had full energy. But today, seeing the moon made me realize that all that effort was worth it.
At home, there’s already a different kind of energy… my mother is busy in the kitchen, sweets are being prepared, and everyone is getting ready in their own way.
Let me share something personal…
Last year on Eid, I was so busy that I couldn’t truly enjoy it. I didn’t spend proper time with my family or meet my friends the way I wanted. But this time, I’ve decided to really feel every moment. Not just stay stuck on my phone or social media… but to share real smiles with real people 😊
Maybe that’s what Eid truly means… reconnecting relationships, clearing hearts, and appreciating the little joys in life.
The sighting of the moon reminds us that after every dark night, light will always come.
Tonight feels special… on one side, there’s a slight sadness that Ramadan is ending, and on the other, the excitement of Eid is building. These mixed emotions are what make this moment so beautiful.
In the end, I just want to say…
If you’ve seen the moon today, take a moment to make a prayer. For yourself, for your family, and for those who are going through difficult times.
Eid Mubarak in advance! 🌙❤️
May Allah accept all our عبادات (worship) and keep us all happy… Ameen.
