But after some time I understood something painful — people make time for what truly matters to them.
I read this and it just hit me how true this statement is. Everything you talk about is truth. I've always been the one in the past generally making the contact with a person or people, often coming up with no reply from them. It really hurts when it's someone in your own family who should always make the time for you, just as I would always make time for them.
I can count on one hand, the number of people who I can truly call my friends. I'm sure there are some with more than that, and maybe unfortunately, some with fewer. Nonetheless, our joy in life should not be chasing after people who are supposed to care.
Thank you for writing this and hopefully, it will be food for thought for the many who might be dropping the ball in their own relationships with others. Take care and have a lovely day! !LADY
