It is really a privilege once again to be part of this #qotw by @ecotrain in the aspect of giving opportunities to others to give ideas or reason about a particular topic it's really awesome.
Actions needed to combat this particular issue about the climate change is something that have been disturbing over the years with no better improvement yet to eradicate it.
The climate change is the biggest threat facing humanity today is no longer in doubt. According to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world must cut its carbon dioxide emissions to net zero by 2050 in order to prevent global warming of 1.5°C, or likely more, above pre-industrial levels.
I am from Nigeria and the mean annual variability amount of rainfall in Nigeria over the last six decades has cause inter annual fluctuations that have been extreme for climate events which have occured such as droughts and floods in many parts of the country.

It is quite known that the changes in temperature cause the changes in rainfall which may results in more severe and frequent storms and this would definitely lead to flooding and landslides which affects homes and communities.
No doubt the world is in a race to fight and also limit the climate change and find a better workable and cost-efficient solutions to this emergency that is redefining globally which has never been.
It is also no doubt that oil and gas is used mostly in industries which should also be looked into. We all used this oil and gas in one way or the other whether we use it at home, vehicles, factories and also to produce electricity.

We all know that the burning of coal, oil and gases affects the climate change which is a big problem and also the use of fossil fuels as well is dangerous to wildlife and the environments, which kills in the aspect of wiping off plant life and leaves areas.
Waste is another area that needs to be looked into, waste which is what we as humans cannot do without but how we dispose it is really different. Most especially in Africa where this waste are been dispose on the floor which is not appropriate and really need to be looked into because with this act it contributes to the flooding as well due to blockage of drainage and it needs to be stopped.
Actions needed for the climate change
1. Education (knowing about climate change)
This information need to be passed to everyone by educating them about the climate change and negative effect it would cause so as to reduce some many things that would make it occur for instance, eradicating the idea of throwing waste product on the floor or road side so as to avoid flood which causes more damages due to blockage of drainage and a better way should be done by disposing it.
2. Reduce the pollution of oil and gas
No doubt this creates serious environmental pollution which is at health risks, not advisable to the human health. With the help of renewable energy solutions such as wind, solar and tidal energy will definitely reduces the reliance on fossil fuel burning power stations when implemented.
