Flowers in my Garden - Autumn 2020 || ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday

in ColorChallenge4 years ago (edited)

I haven't really involved myself into Communities, even before the Hive fork. With the new blockchain, I am exploring the different communities here in Hive which I think is very beneficial not only to the users but also to the blockchain in general. For the users, it gives them targeted exposure for their posts, maybe in terms of shared interests or hobbies, or collective beliefs and goals.

I joined the ColorChallenge community the moment I saw someone's post in my feed. I used to join the challenge for most days of the week before, until I got busy with curation and other projects related to the blockchain, including my recent exposure to EOS.

I look forward to being active in this community and for my very first colorchallenge post, here are my photos for the Sunday Violet theme.

This is a flower of my Tibouchina plant, one of the shrubs in my garden that flowers all year, even during winter, though it is very prolific in the late spring and summer.

These are flowers of my Osteospermum, a flowering plant good for garden borders and for containers too.

These are the last of the few bunches of the flowers of my hydrangeas. I have several of them with different colors. Though at the moment, during this last month of autumn in New Zealand, most of the flowers are becoming wilted.

Lastly, here is the flower of my banana plant. I cannot wait to cut it off and cook it. In the Philippines, we cook it in coconut milk.

There you are, I hope you enjoyed my photo shares and I look forward sharing more photos in the weeks to come.
