Anlässlich des national Liga Spiels von Deutschland gegen Italien habe ich mal einen post verfasst der mich und meine Familie bei der Eröffnungsfeier von Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In unserer Familie sind wir alle Gladbach-Fans, außer meinem jüngsten Bruder, der ein Außenseiter ist und Bayern liebt (kleiner Scherz).
Deshalb gibt es im Vorfeld eines Spieltages immer ein bisschen Reibereien, vor allem, wenn die beiden Mannschaften aufeinandertreffen. So ist das nun mal unter Brüdern.
Wir gehen oft zusammen ins Stadion, um uns Spiele anzusehen. An dem besagten Wochenende war das keine Ausnahme. Neben der Eröffnungsfeier von Borussia Mönchengladbach hatten wir auch die Gelegenheit, den Telekom Cup zu sehen, der zur gleichen Zeit im Borussia Park stattfand. Wir haben unsere Karten im Voraus online gebucht und sind am Samstag sehr früh zur Feier aufgebrochen.
Die Fahrt von uns dauert etwas über 30 Minuten, bis wir am Stadion sind, wo die Eröffnungsfeier auf dem gesamten Gelände stattfand, erst um 15 Uhr begannen die Spiele, sodass wir noch genügend Zeit hatten, an der Feier teilzunehmen und ein paar Dinge zu sehen.
Diesmal waren die 4 Mannschaften vertreten, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund und dem Hamburger HSV (der HSV spielt noch 1 Bundesliga). Jedes Spiel dauerte 60 Minuten, nach 30 Minuten wurden die Seiten gewechselt.

Im ersten Spiel hatte Gladbach unter dem damaligen Trainer Lucien Favre das Vergnügen gegen den BVB mit Jürgen zu spielen. Am Anfang und am Ende war es ein packendes Spiel mit vielen Torchancen auf beiden Seiten. Doch am Ende rettete uns nur ein Elfmeter in letzter Minute dem Einzug ins Finale ohne Verlängerung. Endstand 1:0 für Gladbach. Nach dem Sieg herrschte eine fantastische Stimmung. Die Gladbacher Fans haben fast den ganzen Block abgerissen.
Im zweiten Spiel, das für meinen Bruder interessant war, standen sich der HSV unter dem damaligen Trainer Thorsten Fink und Bayern mit Pep Guardiola gegenüber. Was soll ich sagen, es war ein klarer Sieg für Bayern, es ging nur in eine Richtung. Endstand 4. 0 Die Torschützen waren Boateng in der (12) Minute und in den letzten 20 Minuten schossen sie ihre letzten 3 Tore, darunter waren Mandzukic (41), Kross (44) und Per Elfmeter Philipp Lahm (52)
Das Spiel um Platz 3 zwischen dem HSV und dem BVB haben wir uns nicht angesehen, stattdessen sind wir essen gegangen. Das Spiel endete 1:0 für den BVB, Jonas Hoffmann traf nach einer Einwechslung.
Das Finale war für uns wieder toll, denn wir hofften auf das Spiel Gladbach gegen Bayern.
Die Stimmung in der Nordkurve war mega. Alle waren gut gelaunt und hatten viel Spaß, auch wenn wir mit ansehen mussten, wie Gladbach unterging und ein Tor nach dem anderen kassierte. Bayern hatte wie immer viel Ballbesitz, war dadurch sehr dominant und Gladbach hat sich sehr zurückgezogen. Einzig Herrmann konnte durch seine Schnelligkeit hin und wieder einen Konter einleiten, der aber meist im Sande verlief. In der 17. Minute war es Frank Ribery, der das 1.0 für Bayern erzielte. Gladbach war verunsichert und Bayern erzielte durch Lahm das 2 direkt hinterher.
Das 3. folgte in der 26. Minute durch Thiago. Vor der Pause konnte Gladbach noch einmal durch de Jong punkten. Er verwandelte den Elfmeter.
Doch die zweite Halbzeit war aus Gladbacher Sicht nicht viel besser. Bayern spielte nicht mehr mit vollem Einsatz Fußball, erzielte aber trotzdem noch 2 weitere Tore durch Ribery (41.) und Müller in der 60. Bayern hat verdient den Telekom-Cup gewonnen. Wir haben noch ein wenig mit der Mannschaft zusammen gefeiert, eher wir zum Parkplatz und Auto zurückgingen und nach Hause fuhren.
Wie immer war es toll, wenn ich mit meinen Brüdern Fußball gucken gehe. Wir haben immer viel Spaß und am Ende ist es uns egal, welche Mannschaft gewinnt. So auch in diesem Fall, denn es war nur ein Freundschaftsspiel. Und beide Mannschaften haben sich am ersten Bundesliga-Spieltag wiedergesehen.

On the occasion of the national league match of Germany against Italy I wrote a post of me and my family at the opening ceremony of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In our family we are all Gladbach fans, except my youngest brother who is an outsider and loves Bayern (little joke).
That's why there's always a bit of friction in the run-up to a match day, especially when the two teams meet. That's just the way it is between brothers.
We often go to the stadium together to watch games. The weekend in question was no exception. In addition to Borussia Mönchengladbach's opening ceremony, we also had the opportunity to watch the Telekom Cup, which was taking place at Borussia Park at the same time. We booked our tickets online in advance and left for the celebration very early on Saturday.
The drive from us takes a little over 30 minutes to get to the stadium where the opening ceremony was taking place all over the grounds, it wasn't until 3pm that the games started so we still had plenty of time to join in the celebration and see a few things.
This time the 4 teams were represented, Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Hamburg HSV (HSV still plays 1 Bundesliga). Each game lasted 60 minutes, after 30 minutes the sides were changed.

In the first game Gladbach had the pleasure to play against BVB with Jürgen under the then coach Lucien Favre. In the second game, which was interesting for my brother, HSV under the then coach Thorsten Fink and Bayern with Pep Guardiola faced each other. What can I say, it was a clear victory for Bayern, it went only in one direction. Final score 4. 0 The scorers were Boateng in the (12) minute and in the last 20 minutes they scored their last 3 goals, including Mandzukic (41), Kross (44) and Per penalty Philipp Lahm (52).
We didn't watch the match for 3rd place between HSV and BVB, instead we went out to eat. The game ended 1:0 for BVB, Jonas Hoffmann scored after a substitution.
The final was great for us again, because we were hoping for the Gladbach vs Bayern game.
The atmosphere in the Nordkurve was mega. Everyone was in a good mood and had a lot of fun, even though we had to watch Gladbach go down and concede goal after goal. Bayern had a lot of ball possession as usual, was very dominant as a result and Gladbach pulled back a lot. Only Herrmann was able to initiate a counterattack every now and then due to his speed, but it mostly came to nothing. In the 17th minute it was Frank Ribery who scored the 1.0 for Bayern. Gladbach was unsettled and Bayern scored through Lahm the 2 directly behind.
The 3rd followed in the 26th minute by Thiago. Before the break Gladbach could score once again through de Jong. He converted the penalty kick.
But the second half was not much better from Gladbach's point of view. Bayern did not play soccer with full commitment anymore, but still scored 2 more goals through Ribery (41st) and Müller in the 60th minute. Bayern deserved to win the Telekom Cup. We celebrated a bit more with the team, rather we went back to the parking lot and car and drove home.
As always, it was great when I go to watch soccer with my brothers. We always have a lot of fun and in the end we don't care which team wins. So also in this case, because it was just a friendly match. And both teams met again on the first Bundesliga match day.
