You don't always have to be over the top and go for very complicated recipes to have a nice meal. Sometimes it is all about combining the right foods together with some herbs and cook it to perfection for the best textures and a delicious flavour.
And that's what we went for tonight. Some roasted potatoes on the oven, covered with olive oil, salt, pepper and paprika.
On top of it You can see some asparagus, also roasted in the oven. To make sure we were satisfied we added some vegetarian fish fingers and a burger. We mixed "fish" and "meat" because in the end it is all vegetable substitutes, don't make a big deal out of it.
While Duncan and Jo decided to drink some water with their meal I have decided to finish this Vodka bottle that have been here since the beginning of the quarantine. And if You know me well... back in the day a bottle would barely be enough for a party night.
So this is surprising.
Watermelon & Lime Vodka, sounds great but doesn't really taste that good. But in the end it is Vodka so You know I will drink it.
To finish with a big bang I had a slice of chocolate cake, a delicious and amazing cake. Believe it or not this is a Vegan cake and I would never expect to taste like this.
Since the quarantine start we eat one of this per day or every second day, We gotta keep ourselves happy, specially in times like this.
