Hello and welcome to all the readers.
Today, i made pork vindaloo gravy using pressure cooker.
Ingredients:
500g of Pork
Vindaloo masala (i use the readymade one)
Other spices as per your taste (chilli powder, garam masala, paprika powder etc)
2 small chopped onion
1 table spoon of ginger garlic paste
Lets cook:
- First, Cut the pork into small pieces and then marinate with vindaloo masala.
- leave it for 30 minutes to marinate properly.
- Now on medium heat, put the pressure cooker on the stove. Add some olive oil and let the oil heat up.
- Add the chopped onions. Keep stirring the onions, till it turns light brownish.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, and mix it well. Let the onions absorb it.
- Add all the spices as per your taste. Mix it well and let the onions absorb the spices.
- Then add the marinated pork pieces and mix it well.
- Add 1/3rd of water from a small cup.
- Add salt to your taste.
- close the lid on the pressure cooker and put the whistle on the top of the cooker.
- let it cook, till you hear 4/5 whistles and then turn the gas off.
- let the pressure cooker cool down properly
- Remove the whistle and open the lid of the pressure cooker.
- Dish is ready to serve. You can have it with bread, Chappati, Nan or plain rice.
I had it with plain rice. Pork was cooked well.
