This is the age of mobile phones. Once we had wired phone and people were free but now our phone (smartphone) is free of wires but we are sticked to it. It has become our necessity and addiction too. Can we imagine our life without cellphone?

I can, because I'm old enough to remember life prior to cellphones. I'm only 32, but I recall thinking beepers were hi-tech as a child...I couldn't imagine growing up with all the technology readily available these days.

My phone is not for calling. It's my computer. I need it to read my mainly emails and bills send by the government, taxes etc. To pay bills (we have no longer banks or paper checks) and stay in touch with my children who do not live with me. I am still free. I am not on Facebook etc and do not sleep with my phone. If I go out I leave it at home unless I need it. It's my photo camera too.

Nowadays I rarely use smartphone.
I currently have an old (7 years old) smartphone (Huawei Ascend Y300) from 2013.
Nowadays I mostly use a classic (10 years old) mobile phone (Nokia C2-01) from 2010.
Mostly only to make and receive phone calls.

I imagine it all the time. As much as I like my phone in some ways, I absolutely hate it in other ways. It's such a distraction from everything enjoyable.
