Global business is increasing year by year (though corona outbreak has put a temporary restriction over it). But contrary to it, powerful nations are working against it and also trying to adopt protective measures to curb international trade and commerce.

                    I am not sure what to answer on this question. What I believe is that countries who want to profit will want to have open trade with other countries. While self-sufficiency is important, attempting to be completely self-sufficient might lead to economic downturn.
