That One Whole Chicken!!!! <3

I was browsing through my photo gallery earlier, and I found some pictures worth-sharing here.

In the Philippines, the first and second day of November are special days. It's All Saints Day and All Souls Day respectively. Normally, Filipinos go to cemetery to visit our dear departed loved ones on these days, however, due to the presence of the pandemic, cemeteries were closed and people weren't allowed to go there. Well, it's expected since on these days, a lot of people tend to gather there. Some of them even camp and stay overnight.

Aside from visiting our dear departed loved ones' grave, we also offer prayer and prepare some special food as offering. Well, it's an offering but those who are alive at home eats them instead. xD

As for our family, mama and papa prepared a Whole Chicken Dish. I don't know what it's called as mama usually just experiments on food. This dish is actually my late grandma's favorite and on special occasions, she often requests mama to cook this. :)

Now, let me show you some pictures I took using my smartphone Samsung A50s. :)

I actually asked mama to put some spring onions as a garnish. Although the chicken looks vibrantly good, I thought it would look more beautiful with some contrasting colors. Well, I did take some photos without the garnish, so here they are.

It was really delicious. Somehow, I don't really miss eating out at some restaurants because mama and papa are a really good cook! Hopefully someday, at the right time and the right resources, we can start a food-related business. :) People would definitely be glad to taste their dishes. <3

Lastly, here's a family picture we took after the preparation was finished. Our kitchen is outside our small house, so yeah... we also took the picture outside. Good lighting! lol

I hope you all enjoyed this post and made you crave this dish! haha I'll see you around! ^^
