Hello and welcome to all the readers.
A lots have changed since the traffic exchanges were first introduced or created. But, as the world changes, Traffic exchanges should have evolved.
And yes, they have to some extend, but lots of sites are still identical and most don't offer good returns to the investment.
The standard traffic exchange scripts have also not evolved as the market has changed.
Some have gone and created their own scripts, but many are still on the standard ones.
So, why is that?
Cost of development and innovation can be stated as one of the factors.
Not everyone is a developer, most of them depend on others to create/develop for them.
Many traffic exchanges are shutting down as the market is saturated or lack innovation.
One of the major reason, was some years back paypal pulled plug on many online businesses, which lead to many traffic exchanges going bust.
Other payment options were restrictive or complicated to implement, while rest dried out.
Few, who did survive had to look for other alternatives to pay or recieve payments.
Some adopted the latest innovations in payments like crytocurrencies, while others tried to stick to the remaining traditional ones.
The question still remains is traffic exchange market dying?
I would say, no it still holds a major part in affiliate marketing / List building world.
The only thing it needs someone to introduce an innovative idea to get back to its glory days.
Traffic exchange owners also need to acknowledge and accept the change and work towards it.
Developers also need to innovate/update the old Traffic exchange scripts to cater to the current world needs.
