Banners can be in different shapes and sizes in form of bars, boxes or columns.
The sizes depends on the location they are displayed on the website.
Traffic exchanges, viral list builders, banner exchange are few places where they can be added or promoted.
Banners are also promoted on blogs, gaming and crypto websites.
The effectiveness of the banner depends on it's uniqueness.
Standard banners are less effective.
A typical banner has two parts
- The image URL - The place where the image is stored.
- The target URL - link to the website of the product/opportunity.

To get good results,
- the banner has to be unique.
- A good image or a caption describing the product or opportunity
Use your brand on the banners, like a logo or your photo.
The click-through rate of banner will defer from website to website.
As it depends on the members of the website you are using to promote.

Banner campaigns is basically a rotator to promote a group of banners using a single url.
Example - intellibanners Campaign

Intellibanners website allows you to create a campaign. i.e., add all your banner information to a list.
