Hello and welcome to all the readers.
Today in 'back to basics' we explore - Tracking and Analysis
Tracking and Analysis
Tracking is a process or method to determine the response and effectiveness of the campaign irrespective of where you are sending traffic.
It may be a lead capture page, product or opportunity website, traffic exchange, emails or an affiliate page.
Analysis is breaking down the information and understanding why it is not working and what can be done to improve it.
Tracking links are used in all forms of marketing. It helps to understand and improve.
Further analysis can be done based on the data collected.
Most of the sites allow the users to create tracking links for their campaigns and provide basic tracking analysis and information.
Some specialised sites have more capabilities which provide granual analysis as part of paid subscriptions.
Leapsleap, Hitsconnect have basic as well as paid options.
Trafficwave also has a tracker built it. Trafficwave is an paid autoresponder program.
There are many more free options available which provide basic tracking.
Lets me show you a sample campaign and statistics in leadsleap.
Campaign Details:
Tracking details that can be viewed as a free member.
Note: The below tracking data is just an example and not related to the above campaign.
The depth of the stats provided by tracking sites will defer, some provide very basic details and charge for granual analysis.
Every marketer should have tracking tools to improve the click-through rate of the campaigns and generate lots of leads.
Every tracked email can tell you what headlines are getting attention, click-throughs etc. This helps in reducing the cost and optimising the returns and building a faster list.
