Hey y'all! I'm enjoying these challenges. I live in North Carolina, in the United States, though I've lived in a few places around the world by now. I'm Itazipco Lakota, which is my answer to, "what do you do." I'm involved in land stewardship and defense, and other efforts to enrich Indigenous cultures. I don't really have "hobbies," since I don't really have "work" in the Western sense, but I really like doing beadwork, and I'm trying to learn more about photography! (Though, I'm definitely not good at that.)

I really like good cooking! That one is simple and has little to do with my culture, lol. Just a big fan of good food.

        That sounds like a lot of fun! Like Achim, I'm also from Europe, but I have lived in multi-cultural surroundings and that's probably the best school that people can get... To learn from cultural differences and respect them!

              Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge! As a kid I was a big fan of american indigenous culture but as an european I didn't really have a very accurate picture of it. Thanks a lot for sharing!

                    I appreciate your honesty in this comment! (And if it makes you feel better, most colonial and immigrant Americans also don't have a very accurate picture of the cultures - and it is cultures, plural! So many differences place to place, it means I'm also learning more each day, as the Web helps bring it "closer.")
