What Made The Black Death (The Plague) so Deadly?

Looking at how bad things used to be can help people figure out how blessed they are. There's a silver lining to all things. The dark ages got close to ending with the black death. The medicine at the time itself was a disease in itself. It was devoid of knowledge and full of superstition. It destroyed the lives and the culture of the time. People had to come up with better things and finally the world did get better.

There is a lesson to be learned with every disaster. Look at what is helping us today with COVID-19 going on. If people weren't screaming foul on automation and online shopping, w'd probably be facing these COVID-19 situations with much ease. We need to look forward to the future. We need to see what we can learn from this mess.
