Reducing consumption of products and services with a large carbon footprint is one of the best and easiest ways an average person can help fight against climate change. Many of these actions can even reduce the cost of living. The production of meat has a much larger carbon footprint compared to vegetables and fruit. If I can consume less or no meat at all, my personal impact on the environment can be significantly reduced. It's not like there aren't great food that are made without meat. I thing restaurants and hotels should do more to promote and offer a range of no-meat menu items.
