Maybe. Possibly a metal/polymer blend of material. Progress in building is rather limited by building code laws. I imagine the future with more rounded architecture and less squares and rectangle shaped designs.

One of the main objections to geodesic dome home design is that cutting triangles from the sheet material creates more waste but with large scale 3D printing that really isn't an issue.

Yes, 3D printing or something similar could be the future of buildings. It could be easyer to make rounded buildings and irregular structures.

If such material is created, it could be stronger than concrete and more flexible than steel.
