For this week's Deranged Photography Contest we're Filling The Frame.
There are enough ways to compose a photograph that entire books have been written solely around the topic of composition. One of the most widespread "rules" of composition is the "Rule of Thirds," in which the primary focal point is on the intersection of each second "fold" of the image (Rule of Thirds on Wikipedia).
This image ignores the Rule of Thirds completely and opts, instead, for a full frame. Using a full frame to fill the photos (hah!) let's us really hone in on this good looking gentleman's finer features: the curve of the cheeks, droop of the lips, and pepper in the grayed hair.
