Today at dialysis I once again took a total of 964 mg of Caffeine approximately form the capsule form and energy drinks. One hour and a half before termination time I had one small bottle of 150 mL energy drink which I think is causing the profound Caffeine effects in my system. I am just overly stimulated right now because even though the Gabapentin that I took is kicking in already I could still not been able to sleep.
To counter the stimulation although I am not having palpitations I had my appetite stimulant which in effect would make me feel sleepy. Now I am intoxicated with stimulating, relaxing, and sedating effects of the medicines and "vitamins" from the appetite stimulant.
So it is just a waiting time until I feel sleepiness after the residual caffeine wears off. I could really feel sleepiness but unable to sleep because again of the Caffeine. Now that I had identified the cause of my over-stimulation I think that I must really cut back on my caffeine intake in the form of energy drink that I am drinking after my meal at dialysis.
Also I think one factor also lies to the fact that I did ate a lot today at dialysis so the caffeine that I took totaling to 400 mg got mixed with my food and of course when my food is processed by my body not all Caffeine had been washed out and some remained with my food which is slowly absorbed by my body and those that are the ones that I am feeling right now.
This will just taper off at the course of this night but I hope that I would be able to sleep after a substantial amount of Caffeine in my system had been cleaned off by my liver and other organs. Now I am waiting for the caffeine to just wear off so that I could sleep. I could fairly well sleep this night if my appetite stimulant would also kick in. My heart is also fast with its pump but at least it is not palpitating and aching otherwise I will be much in a big trouble because I would just rely in my own system to process that high amount of Caffeine that might hurt me.
