One politician saying absurd things isnt necessarily a matter for concern. However, once you start to get enough of them, absurd things acrually start happening.

I guess so. I think that what she is saying is so extreme that it is not worth paying attention to, but you do have a point. What was once outlandish 10 or 20 years ago is commonplace nowadays.
