Art can be showcased through painting, acting of movie roles, music e.t.c I'd like to say that art can be a lifestyle. I literally chose it as a lifestyle based on the real passion I'm having for it.
There's this TV series I saw online like few years ago titled Jane by design she literally lied about her age just to work as an assistant for a professional fashion designer. While watching this particular series then, I never really understand what passion was like or following your passion entails. That's the main reason i indicated in one of my post here on hive that whenever you follow or trust in your passion, success will surely come knocking on your door with ease. I started considering going into the fashion world with my designing skills like 5 years ago cause it's a hidden interest I personally chose not to disclose to anyone including my close pals and folks. I wanted it to be a surprise to everyone around me.
About fashion designing
Fashion designing is a relative skill of creative thinking and converting sketch works into a whole full garments. It's also a process of creating a desired outfits. I didn't venture into fashion designing until early March 2021 due to the fact I've been busy with alot of things and besides my focus wasn't on it. One interesting fact I like fashion designing is that, you have to give it a full focus.
There are some interesting and important things about fashion designing or being a fashion stylist;
A fashion designer must be competitive in every way i.e designers must challenge their selves to come up with new style of garments.
A designer must be creative and innovative
Designers should always put the interest of their clients first
Designers must be very knowledgeable in converting their sketch work into a full seen garment.
Another thing fashion designers needs to always take note of is TREND. Designers should always be updated and follow all trends of clothing line, fashion world cause there is always a new style of clothes, colors , stores and collection of wears (clothes). And I'd like to add that fashion is extremely important, because we obviously can't do without putting on clothes.
