What a wedding
So, you know what I'm like folks. I am a creature of habit. In 115 weeks I have never missed a Three Tune Tuesday. On Wednesdays I do the showcase. Some Friday's I take part in @ewkaw's Fungi Friday, which as you'll have it, I am planning to do tomorrow as I found some funky ass mushrooms in my garden yesterday evening and set about photographing them. Then of course there is Beer Saturday which I rarely miss. As I say, I am a creature of habit.
So today I am going to start a new weekly habit, that I will call Throwback Thursday. The basic premise is that I will find some old photographs or memories and share them with a short post on a Thursday, so let's kick it off then shall we?
The idea came to me today while looking through some old photos. I thought why not share a few on Hive, so I will start things off here with a few photos from Youghal in County Cork and the very southern side of Ireland. I was there for my cousin's wedding, but I won't share photos of them, without their consent. As such the photos are more of the scenery around Youghal back in August 2019.
This was the beautiful view out to the harbour from just outside the hotel where they got married.
This the name of the beautiful boutique hotel I stayed in, which had gorgeous views out over the harbour.
They even had their very own pillow menu!!
Here are the views I mentioned as well, it was such a lovely spot.
Then it was time for a quick sandwich.....
Then it was time to get the suit on and let the craic begin....
The craic was had, and many a pint of Guinness was enjoyed with friends and family...
Here is a photo from the wedding that I don't mind sharing as you can't make anyone out... Clearly!!!
Oh and I had a sore head the next day and went for a walk to try and clear it and happened upon this lad on the harbour wall, who was pulling the exact face of how I was feeling after the night before's session!
