Oh wow you are making me long for a vacation AND the return of the golf season.

This is the view from one of our favourite courses a couple weeks ago. A bit of a winter thaw made it almost green enough to appear ready for golf. Still months away though.

A 9-hole course is always a disappointing thing for me. Just getting warmed up and the beer is just sinking in at that point!

        We are pretty lucky in Ireland, as we can play all year around. Only torrential rain or a hard frost closes the course which might happen 3 or 4 weekends a year between November and February. Ya 9 hole is always a big disappointment and a waste.
