The 3rd T20 match of the series was played between Bangladesh vs Pakistan on Monday, November 22 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 5 wickets and won the 3 matches T20 series by 3-0.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladeshi opener Najmul Hossain Shanto has gone for only 5 runs. Later Shamim Hossain came out and made 30 runs partnership with Mohammad Naim. Shamim scored 22 runs in 23 balls including 4 fours. After Shamim's wicket Afif Hossain came out and made 43 runs partnership with Naim. Afif scored 20 runs in 21 balls including 2 sixes. Naim played a responsible but slow innings. He scored 47 runs in 50 balls including 2 fours and 2 sixes. Finally Bangladesh scored total 127 runs by 7 wickets.
Pak bowlers performed really well. Mohammad Wasim Jr picked up 2 wickets only for 15 runs in 4 overs. Usman Qadir also got 2 wickets. Shahnawaz Dahani and Haris Rauf each took 1 wicket.
In reply Pakistan had a good start. They played very carefully and slowly chased down the match till end of the last ball. Pak opener Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam made 32 runs partnership. Babar has gone for 19 runs then Haider Ali came out and made 51 runs partnership with Rizwan. Rizwan scored 40 runs in 43 balls including 2 fours and 1 six. Haider Ali scored 45 runs in 38 balls including 3 fours and 2 sixes. But still Pakistan struggled to chased down the target. In final over Iftikhar Ahmed hit a six and in final ball Mohammad Nawaz hit a four and finished the match.
Bangladeshi bowlers performed well but finally failed to stop Pak batsman. Mahmudullah bowled in the final over and picked up 3 wickets for 10 runs in 1 over but he couldn't stop pak batsman. Aminul Islam and Shahidul Islam each took 1 wicket. Haider Ali was player of the match and Mohammad Rizwan was player of the series.
