No late drama in premier league this past weekend, most especially on Sunday, we we have so many draw matches and they are all worth watching, although I couldn't watch everything because I couldn't split my television and can't keep changing stations, it won't make sense because I won't be able to follow the match fully, but I could only watch goal rush while watching the one I really needed to watch, the one that I thought it would be tough and really worth watching.
On Saturday that Arsenal played against Bournemouth, I knew it would be a serious match because Bournemouth was among the team that stopped Arsenal from winning league last season, Bournemouth beat Arsenal both home and away last season, Arsenal could not afford to loose against such team again, they needed to find a way to beat Bournemouth and get three points from them or they watch Manchester City and Aston Villa overtaking them and loose the chance of winning league again this season.
Gabriel's mistake gave Arsenal determination, especially Gabriel himself because his play way changed after the mistake, he played more attacking than defending until he was able to score back and level it, that kind of luck is just rare because he's a defender, not an attacker, and he scored the goal in just six minutes after his mistake and made it level, Arsenal scored twice again in second half by Declan Rice and Bournemouth was able to score once, which really have Arsenal the three points they needed.
Fulham versus Liverpool was another one that I watched, it's just amazing how Fulham played in the first half, like prime real Madrid, no fear, just pure football, even with the absence of their first eleven players like Calvin-Bassy and other Africa players, they still managed to have a point against big team like Liverpool. Although Fulham scored first but that doesn't matter on football, especially premier league and against big team but Fulham defended it for the half time before Florian Wirtz equalised in second half.
Anything can happen before final whistle is blown, Cody Gakpo is not new to premier league, at least he has spent more than a season in the league, I wonder why he would score and off his cloth when there's still some minutes left for them to play. Fulham's last minute strike is the second to Arsenal's last goal scored against Newcastle United in the start of the season, it's unexpected and that gave Fulham a point, they are not loosing all.
Maybe Chelsea sacked Enzo Maresca so as to beat or have at least a point against Chelsea because I would say Chelsea played against Manchester City with the defenders, the attackers didn't really play like the defenders, most especially Archempong. I didn't even know that Archempong is that good as a defender, he denied Manchester City strikes all through, he covers for every mistake he made and Enzo Fernandez late strike gave them a point as well.
