Sports over the xmas.

The Xmas sports schedule is the best time of the year.

I love these couple of weeks for sport. There always so much happening on the tv to watch for the xmas schedule.

The biggest one is the premier league with matches coming hot and heavy across the whole festive period but we have a lot more here in ireland as well to keep us entertained.

Premier league:

Newcastle v Man Utd
Leicester v Liverpool
Arsenal v Man City
Chelsea v Liverpool
Man Utd v Burnley
Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea
Man Utd v Wolves

With a detour to Scotland for,
Celtic v Rangers.

Will be the ones that I'm aiming for. I know that United can be terrible to watch but they are still my team and always will be. That's how sports works.

Anyway, I'm hoping that Covid was just a big ruse and they will come out as a new team under their latest manager and take full points from the games, catapulting them into the top four after a flurry of big wins full of goals.

The best of the rest.

Horse racing:

The Leopardstown Christmas Festival, which runs from December 26-29 is always a big event for the irish racing scene and passes a few days with a few winners hopefully.

Rugby:

The provinces are always worth a watch this week as they go head to head. The best is normally Munster v Leinster on stephans day but it has been put off this year due to restrictions.

Ulster v Connacht
Munster v Leinster (Postponed.)
Leinster v Ulster 3pm

Darts:

This is one of my favorite ones to watch. Big lumps of men, scantily clad women, drunken fans. It really is the sport of kings.

It's not something that i would watch often but it's easy to get into for the world championship over the xmas.

Unfortunately i will be far to busy to watch all of this but hopefully i will see a good bit of it and make the most of the xmas break.

Sort:

I can't wait for Chelsea vs liverpool.. I hope I am not on duty on that day.

When is the fixture?

We find it disgraceful that you didn't add the game of Cards Against Humanity our staff will play on Christmas. That's just offensive.

I never watch the darts during the year, but I always watch it over Christmas and really enjoy it.

Serious amount of sport on alright, which is mighty..
