Mesut Özil had decided to quit with Arsenal and agree to begin with another team from Turkish League Fernabache, he would sign a three-year and six-month contract with Fenerbahce according to reports.

Özil's was totally turned down by Mikel Arteta and the most recent match he featured was in March 2020 against West Ham.

Özil get several offer from the European teams as well as the US Major League Soccer DC United but he chose to stay in Europe and agree a deal with Fernabache. Ozil who moved to Arseal in 2013 from Real Madrid is set to end the spell and moved to the Turkish side.

Throughout his seven years with Arsenal he has played 184 games, scoring 33 goals and 54 assist for the London club. This will be a huge move for him as he will be fully welcomed in Turkey.
