West Brom blew their lines once again as they fell to a 0-2 home loss against a very average Preston North End Side.
The pressure will be mounting on boss, Valerien Ismael as the possibility of dropping out of the play-off places looms near. This was their first loss at home all season and if their form doesn't rapidly improve, especially in front of goal, it won't be their last!
Obviously, because of the Premier League stars away sunning themselves, we're staying in the Championship for todays game between...

Huddersfield occupying the final play-off place host Stoke tonight who will be looking to close a 6 point gap to the play-off places against a Huddersfield side who will no-doubt be doggedly clinging on to it!
Huddersfield have been enjoying a fine run of form, unbeaten in the last 9 games including a well deserved 2-1 away win over Premiership Burnley in the Cup. At times it hasn't been pretty but their willingness to fight to the last minute, as shown in their 4-3 away win against Reading last weekend will absolutely see them at least in the play off places for a Premier league shot at the end of the season.
Stoke however, have had a poor New Year with only one league win from 5 attempts with the other 4 games being all losses which has seen them slip down the table and turn from contenders into also-rans.
Providing Huddersfield don't become complacent, this is three points in the bag and another step closer to the Premier League.

The Small Print
In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
