Hello and welcome to all the readers.
IPL T20 tournament started on 26th March 2022.
10 teams out of which 2 new teams (Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants) and the 8 existing teams.
The teams were divided into 2 groups. The teams had to play each other once and few matches between groups, 70 matches in total.
The round robin matches completed on 22nd May 2022
The top 4 teams went into the next round

First Qualifier:
The first qualifier match was played on 24th May at Eden Gardens, Kolkota, between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Gujarat Titans (GT) won the match and went into finals.
The loser Rajasthan Royals (RR) had another chance to play against the winner of the eliminator.
Eliminator:
The eliminator match was played on 25th May at Eden Gardens, Kolkota, between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the match.
Second Qualifier:
The second qualifier match was played on 27th May at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad bwtween the Rajasthan Royals (RR) (the losers of the first qualifier) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) (the winners of the eliminator)
Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the match convincingly and went through to the finals
Finals
The finals will be played tomorrow, friday 29th May 2022 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Gujarat Titans (GT) v/s Rajasthan Royals (RR)
A re-match again between the first and the second team on the points table.

Rajasthan Royals (RR)
RR has won the title in 2008. The first IPL T20 Tournament. Since then they have shown glimpses of winning team, but have not manage to win again.
Jos Buttler has been ruthless when batting.
The question is - Will RR win the tournament after 14 years?
Gujarat Titans (GT)
GT on the other end is a complete new team. They have shown great character and have performed as a team.
David Miller and Hardik Pandya has been magnificient.
The question is - Will GT win their first maiden title in their first year of existence?
