Today, was third day of the fourth match between India and England.
recap:
day one, England were all out for 205 and India in reply were 24/1.
day two, India continue the reply and scored 294/7
Day 3 proceedings:
- Before start of the play, India had 88 runs lead over England.
- Axar Patel and Washington Sunder continued to played well and helped to build the lead. But once Axar got run out, India lost the remaining wickets in quick succession. Washington Sunder remained not out on 96.
- India were all out for 365. A lead of 150 runs
Ben stokes took the remaining 2 wickets today. - England started the second innings with a 150 deficit.
- Indian spinners were too much for England batsmen to handle
England team were all out for just 135 runs
Axar and Ashwin took 5 wickets each
India won the match by 15 runs and a innings
The match lasted only for 3 days.
England were not able to play the Indian spinners, something they need to work on.
With this win, India take the series 3 -1 and also qualify for the world cup test finals to be played in England in summer.

One leg of the tour is completed.
England will now play five T20 (20 overs) matches and three one day (50 overs) matches.
I am looking forward to the competition, as these short format matches are fast paced and high scoring matches.
Lets hope the pitches are good for the bowlers to bowl.
