Gator's In The Draft: Kyle Pitts to Atlanta Falcons 4th Pick

in Sports Talk Social3 years ago (edited)

Kyle Pitts had a great career with the Gators, and now as the 4th pick of the 2021 #NFL draft, Kyle Pitts beat out Mike Ditka for the honor of being the highest draft pick for a tight end in NFL history.

What Makes Him Special

Kyle Pitts has the size of a tight (6' 6", 245 pounds) and the speed of a wide receiver, making him a very tough matchup for either linebackers or corner backs. He also displays great ball skills and huge soft hands making him Kyle Trask's favorite target at Florida.

Areas To Improve

While not skinny, Pitts will need to add a bit of bulk to be able to handle the hits he will be taking at the next level. I'm sure the Falcons are already working on a plan to bulk him up while not losing his quickness and speed.

College Highlights

If you aren't familiar with Kyle Pitts you can enjoy some of his Gator highlights in this nice YouTube clip.

Congratulations Kyle
