Arsenal ready to bounce back against Newscatle

The gunners will be ready to bounce back from their defeat to Liverpool in their previous game after losing woefully in a 4-0 defeat away from home. Although the North London club are well placed to battle it out for a top-four place finish, though there’s still a clear gap between them and the title contenders at the moment as evidenced to their 4-0 defeat to Liverpool.

That game ended Arsenal's eight-game unbeaten run despite securing six wins and two draws(W6, D2), but this particular game represents a good chance for the host to bounce back as they haven’t lost a home premier league game against Newcastle United since November 2010 in nine wins(W9) so far.

Arsenal fans will therefore expect another victory here and a comfortable one too as well as this fixture looks easy to secure all three points for the host. However, Newcastle’s new owners will eventually be demanding European qualification as part of promotion for the club, but that remains a long way off as they must now focus on gaining their first league win of the season since the beginning of the campaign with six draws and six losses(D6, L6) which is not a good record for the club at the moment.

The visitors are sitting five points below 17th-placed Leeds United and are placed 20th in the premier league table. With the record so far, the club is bidding to become the second club in a 38 game premier league season to survive after a 12-game winless start!

The journey so far for Newscatle in the league this campaign, has either been a 1-1 draws or defeats in which they conceded more than two goals with three draws and three losses(D3, L3) and given their record here, the visitors would gladly accept another score draw if the gunners are not careful.

Players to watch

The gabonese international has scored six times in his last five competitive appearances against Newcastle united with each of those goals coming after half-time and the away side need to be watchful and he always looks dangerous in scoring.

The French man has six direct premier league goal contributions this season with three goals and three assists with the fact that all his three goals all arriving after the 40th minute would seems to be a treat to gunners side when they both meet at the Emirates.

I'm hoping we can bounce back, if we lose this match I feel it'll be another streak of losses and struggles to climb the table. we were on form until the liverpool game, just hope it hasnt set up back too far.

The fixture looks easy for the gunners to secure all three points

With the heavy knock Arsenal took last weekend, I don't think it would be easy for them to take down Newcastle and considering Newcastle's recent performances, a clean sheet result could be difficult to get.

Absolutely!

But, let's just keep our eyes open!
