Una ciudad que se fundó hace aproximadamente 500 años y alberga una gran variedad de anécdotas e historias desde su creación.
Hoy quiero presentarles otra de mis pinturas al aire libre sobre las fachadas coloniales, realizada durante una jornada laborar en el proyecto al cual pertenezco ubicado en el paseo del prado, Imagen 3 bello proyecto artístico y comunitario pensado para los niños.
Hello, good day to everyone and welcome to another trip through Havana between walls.
A city that was founded approximately 500 years ago and houses a wide variety of anecdotes and stories since its creation.
Today I want to present you another of my outdoor paintings on the colonial facades, made during a day of work on the project to which I belong located on the Paseo del Prado, Image 3 beautiful artistic and community project designed for children.
Actualmente se vive una etapa difícil en Cuba, dada por una crisis económica post pandemia, nosotros los artistas tuvimos que reinventarnos los métodos y formas de comercializar nuestras obras. A raíz de esas situaciones complejas fue que me dispuse a formar parte de esta gran familia de #hive invitado por otro usuario cubano. Existe una comunidad muy fuerte aquí y hay que reconocer que todos son muy profesionales y dedicados, desde mi inicio he estado aprendiendo su funcionamiento.Hoy comparto casi todo mi trabajo artístico con ustedes. El echo de poder difundir mis pinturas y además compartir criterio con otras comunidades de artistas es un privilegio para mi. Gracias a todos mis amigos de la plataforma por seguir mi trabajo, les mando un abrazo, mucha salud y suerte 🍀.
Currently there is a difficult stage in Cuba, given by a post-pandemic economic crisis, we artists had to reinvent the methods and ways of marketing our works. As a result of those complex situations, I set out to be part of this great family of #hive invited by another Cuban user. There is a very strong community here and it must be recognized that everyone is very professional and dedicated, since my beginning I have been learning how it works. Today I share almost all my artistic work with you. The fact of being able to spread my paintings and also share criteria with other communities of artists is a privilege for me. Proceso creativo desde principio a fin/Creative process from start to finish
Arrancamos explicando que la pintura de hoy es un Óleo/lienzo de 35x42 cm, montado sobre cartón tabla.
We start by explaining that today's painting is an Oil/canvas of 35x42 cm, mounted on cardboard.
Continuamos con el proceso buscando un efecto de lloviznado o chorreado para agravarle una riqueza plástica que le aporta mucha frescura y espontaneidad al trabajo.
We continue with the process looking for a drizzle or dripping effect to aggravate a plastic richness that brings a lot of freshness and spontaneity to the work.
Este efecto se logra preparando una mezcla de pintura con una mayor cantidad de diluyente, puede utilizar el de su preferencia, yo generalmente utilizo aguarrás.
This effect is achieved by preparing a mixture of paint with a greater amount of diluent, you can use the one of your preference, I usually use Turpentine
Después de aplicada esa primera mancha yo espero unos minutos para que se asiente bien, y no se borre con facilidad.
After applying that first stain, I wait a few minutes for it to settle well, and not erase easily.
Sabemos que el óleo siempre tiene un periodo de secado lento así que deben preservar las partes del fondo que sean de su interés sin retocarlo.
We know that the oil always has a slow drying period so you must preserve the parts of the fund that are of interest to you without retouching it.
Como pueden apreciar, es un proceso de superponer pinceladas siempre respetando lo que queremos preservar del fondo. Con las ideas claras de lo que yo quería lograr todo se me fue visualizando poco a poco. La pintura es un oficio de paciencia y constancia.
As you can see, it is a process of superimposing brushstrokes always respecting what we want to preserve from the background. With the clear ideas of what I wanted to achieve, everything was visualized little by little. Painting is a profession of patience and perseverance.

Hoy quiero cerrar con una imagen que muestra un conjunto de pinturas referentes al paisaje urbano. Cada una de ellas son un sitio específico de la ciudad de La Habana, mi fuente de inspiración, están a la venta todos los fines de semanas desde las 9:00 am hasta la 6:00 pm. Radicamos en Paseo del Prado y Colón.
