Loving walks! - Haiku Contest - WEEK #27 (English)

in #haikucontest7 years ago

Nothing is more memorable than a smell. One scent can be unexpected, momentary and fleeting, yet conjure up a childhood summer beside a lake in the mountains. Diane Ackerman

Dear Friends

Now I participate in the Haiku contest of @bananafish in its twenty-seven week Mizu no Oto - Every Image Has Its Haiku Contest - WEEK #27 (English), by the invitation of my friend @vdux.

Now I invite my friends @zeleiracordero, @antoniarhuiz, @salvao and @lecumberre.

To express it I have used only 17 syllables summarized in a Haiku poetry of my inspiration.

Something sunk the boat ...

remember glorious past!

of wet loving walks.

I like your haiku very much, but can you explain to me the "!" at the end of the second verse?

For me the symbol "!" allows the reader to address in their memories those beautiful moments of their adolescence.

A nice haiku!
