Kind Words between me and a stranger 6

Kind Words

A "game" called Kind Words where people write help requests anonymously. I answer some of them. If someone likes my answer, they don't get to reply, but they can still say thanks if they appreciated it.

In this post series, I pick 3 letters I'm going to answer. Their name is never shared, so it's alright. What do you think of my replies? Should I have done better?

Lo-fi song

Any Kind Words experience would not be complete without a good lo-fi tune. This song was promoted ingame today. Enjoy!

Putting up with the lack of digital security

That was kind of getting to me some time ago. I felt angry every time Microsoft asked to confirm my phone number while logging in my email. I was upset whenever a directed ad would pop up. I was afraid a facebook or whatsapp message with financial details would get leaked.

Should I really bother, though? I'm not a CEO of anything. Lately, I decided to just go with it. Wild animals are always under attack, but I guess we're not that different in our human society. Live!

Social anxiety never goes away

I like to think I've helped a few anxious people in the past. This is what they benefited from the most: Go get what you want. Instead of worrying about what others are going to think of you, focus on doing things for yourself.

Do you want to be friends with somebody? Start interacting with them somewhat constantly. Just stop expecting people should emotionally reply to you. Put yourself first for a change. If you are complaining, then I'm sure you know you deserve it.

"No contact" rule

I haven't used this rule for broken relationships specifically. Instead, I use it in every scenario where a person is being toxic. You know what? You're right. It helps.
