I wonder if flagging an article that trends because of bidbots is a good thing for Steemit. Many of the people who use bidbots actually buy Steem to buy their votes, couldn't that have a bad effect on Steem prices? You know if these people decide to stop buying Steem for bidbot votes?
Potentially yes. I'm not sure that vote buyers would top everyone's list for what needs flagging first. Alternate account voting farms and circle-jerks could be up there too?
I wonder how the amount of Steem bought for bid-bots compares against Steemit Inc's constant selling. Improve the place, bring in ad revenue, reduce/stop the selling and the price could (with the help of BTC) rise even with a reducing in vote selling?
Yes, those are way up there. As for the fixes I guess that is open for a lot of ideas as it has always been, I see a lot of ideas of bringing back things that were already tried and didn't work then, I wonder why they would work now. But I guess it is easy for me, and others, to just complain and not come up with any ideas.
