Beautiful birds, no wonder you are missing them. How time flies. It seems just recently when you were talking about rain, and then about the birds slowing coming back. And now, they are leaving, or have left.

My daughter was helping me dump out the flower pots that I had on the deck all summer and she made the comment that it seems like just yesterday that we were planting the flowers in the pots! We are still getting rain. The river has remained over flood stage all spring, much of the summer and now all fall.
