Visiting My Grandparents in My Papa's Hometown + Spending Time With Family <3

What's up?


I missed blogging for the past couple days again. I just can't find enough time to do so and it's making me a bit sad. I even haven't drawn anything for the past weeks. I miss drawing!!! Well, I could keep up with anime, so it's OK. I'm still good despite the everyday busy life at work.

Last night, two of my cousins visited our house and we had dinner together, so I feel happy. I don't go out that often, so I am glad every time someone visits us. And their visit reminded me of when my parents and I visited my grandparents last December.

In this post, you'll see photos of my family spending time with each other... well, mostly eating. :) haha FOOD is life, afterall. :) Let's start! ^^





Here's the view which welcomed us in the port of San Carlos City. It was around 5PM then, so the sun was about to set in an hour or so. We didn't tell my grandma that we're going, so we asked my uncle and cousin to take her out so we could see her directly at the restaurant.

She was surprised and very happy to see us as we haven't met each other for more than two years. Well, I couldn't take lots of pictures that time because we were busy catching up, but I did take a couple of shots after eating.







We had grilled stuff and we were all stuffed. <3 After eating, we transferred to a nearby outdoor pub. My uncles drank beer while the others just talked more. I and my cousins talked about our past experiences in this place and it felt so nostalgic. ^^


The next day, we decided to visit my grandpa... so here's what happened.








We fetched grandma from her place. Well, I was surprised because my cousin took a day off from school so she could go with us. lol Anyway, after fetching them, we went to church first before finally going to meet my grandpa.





This is the church in my papa's hometown. Isn't it beautiful? We just lit some candles and said our prayers there. After praying, we hit the road again to meet grandpa. <3





Finally! My grandpa! <3 I really miss him a lot. :) He has been gone for more than 10 years, but he is always remembered. He was one of my favorite people in this world. He is the best grandpa in the whole universe! I really love him so much! <3 He was my idol and even though he wasn't able to go to school, I believe he's one of the most intelligent people there is. He was such an inspiration.





Such a lovely view outside the cemetery. I mean, every place in this city is amazing, so I really love going there! <3 After visiting grandpa, we went to the mall to eat and have fun.














In the last picture, we went to the arcade and played! It was so much fun as if we were kids again. My nephew had a great time as well. I want to spend time with them again soon!

In the afternoon, we all went to the small hotel where I and my parents were staying to rest for a bit. Well, I and another cousin didn't take a nap, instead we watched some Japanese movie together.





This cousin of mine is pretty similar to me. She's so into idol groups and drama. I'll try to get her to watch anime in the future. LOL

Later that day, we went to one of my favorite places there to hang out. I took a lot of pictures of the place, so I'll show it next time in a separate post so please look forward to checking it. Thanks a lot for reading this post. Until next time! (^_^)/
