Probably the selfish and greedy attitude of the majority of the Steem blockchain users. Many people are focusing only on their own blog posts, but they do not care about other people's blog posts. Nowadays there are 30-32 000 daily active users, and the number of the daily blog posts is sometimes more than 40 000, but the average number of comments is only around/about 3, and most of those comments are bot, bot-like, spam, spam-like comments. This is not appealing for the potential new users, nor for the existing users. Many people are left (and still leaving) the Steem blockchain. The number of the monthly active users is decreasing month by month. If the investors have low confidence in Steem, then I do not blame them. I currently also have low confidence in Steem. I am very disappointed in the (not-so-existing) social side of the Steem blockchain.
Based on what the users are doing nowadays, I would not say that bright future is waiting for the Steem blockchain.
