I can't say that I totally ignore them, but I don't pay attention to all of it as much as I used to. There's too much that gets talked about to ever follow it all and avoid feeling like there's not much hope left.

But I believe it's definitely true that politics does impact us on a regular basis, and more of us need to be aware of what's going on and find ways to drive the discourse and the policy making to benefit freedom and privacy of the individual rather than control.
