Has your usage of voting bots been changed after HF21?

  • No - Didn't use them before. Don't use them now

  • No - Used them before. Still using them now

  • Yes - Used them before. Not using anymore

  • Yes - Didn't use them before. Using them now

  • I've reduced the usage/frequency

  • I'm just waiting for the bots to adjust themselves before deciding

I'm not that keen on bidbots, but now that the convergent linear curve is in place, it makes it more difficult to get to the coveted 20 STEEM mark without bidbots, unless you already have a pretty significant network of folks that you may or may not be participating in a circle vote with. Or, have a pretty high self-upvote, which according to my calculations, would start about 175,000 SP. So, I find it interesting that the little news about bidbots at this point I've read has to do with them going under. I can't believe that's true, but I guess we'll see as time continues to tick by and people decide and implement their behavioral changes, if any, going forward.

All they have to do is make some adjustments to the algorithms. At most the bidbots will be less profitable for users and owners. That's all I could see happening.

Since I made that comment, I've ran across a post and comment or two that basically has at least one bidbot owner, if not more, coming to chat with some community members about how things should look going forward. If chat is the proper term. I'm getting concerned that this new community led STEEM has it's downsides, too—some ultimatums going around that makes it sound like the same thing we've been working to get free of here. :)

I am using voting bots, but not bidbots.
I used bidbots a few times in the past, but I am not using them anymore.
But this is not what I reduced after the HF21. I reduced the usage of bidbots long time ago.
I bought upvotes on MinnowBooster and on Smartsteem.
Not too often, but sometimes.
Sometimes I have to buy upvotes, because sometimes the pending payout on my blog posts is not even reach the payout threshold ($0.02).
I mostly bought upvotes on Smartsteem, but I will probably not buy more upvotes on Smartsteem after the HF21.
Before the HF21 Smartsteem had a fixed ROI (Return On Investment) of 10%, and a minimum investment of 0.10 SBD/Steem.
Now they have a fixed ROI (Return On Investment) of 20%, and a minimum investment of 10 SBD/Steem.
This is not favorable for redfish/plankton and for minnow users.
I have not bought any upvotes since the start of the HF21, but I will probably continue to buy upvotes on MinnowBooster.
