Honest people must be in politics in order to replace corrupt and dishonest people?

Normally, people don't like politicians. They think they are corrupt and the source of evil and it is not a false claim either. Majority of politicians are corrupt and politics is just a means of livelihood for them. Politics is a very promising career which brings lots of opportunities for the politicians. Ordinary people don't like the professional politicians but they also not like to participate actively in politics. Honest people think that politicians are corrupt but isn't it the fault of the honest people not to participate in politics? Should they not come forward and remove the unscrupulous people who have made politics a profession? What do you think?
