Liquidity Metric To Combat “Volume Inflation” Problem + Other Updates from CoinMarketCap

Although I find @coingecko to be a more informative platform due to listing more assets and providing gains/losses over 1 hour, 24 hours and 7 days at the same time etc. the biggest player in the market for tracking cryptocurrency price performance has been CoinMarketCap. As I have transitioned more towards long term investing over day trading and swing trading, liquidity is not a great issue for me. What I do love is the other developments which include:

  • Partnership with Yahoo Finance
  • A tool for comparing interest-generating platforms for over 40 crypto assets
  • Jobs board
  • Educational site coming up in early 2020
  • New filtering and tagging options
  • New design

Hey there, I also prefer coingecko for detail and accuracy, and have also left day trading etc, and now am a long term investor, awaiting the bull run on my crypto. It's hard to make constant profits as a day trader. About 90% lose most of their money apparently, so we are better off just buying and hodling.
