Knowledge is power. It's better to know about the new partner of STEEM and the owner of Steemit Inc. BitTorrent Token (BTT) was bought by Tron some time ago and this developer migrating from the slow and cluncky yet decentralized Ethereum was singled out as a competitor. Instead of fighting in a free market, the paths for the new project to grow were closed down and the devs were in for some very bad times.
Maybe their project wasn't something that would have lasted anyways. I'm not gong to pretend everything will be rosy if people supported them. But we need to have principles and Tron seems to have them a bit loose.
