My chessboard game from cast resin

Hello dear ones, today I report to you from my self-made chessboard game with cast resin. It had given me great pleasure and I was allowed to learn again to be patient. First I started to fill the white pieces and to pour the chessboard pattern. After a short time, I began to mix black paint with casting resin, I just had to have patience otherwise the colors would not have mixed so blatantly. So next time I'll let one color dry first or just have to fill box by box very carefully.

In the same way, I should have filled the small pawns slowly, so now some had no head. When hardening it has simply pulled together. And one of the pawns actually still had a little white in it, so it got such a gray face.

After the hardening time of the single chessboard quadrangles I turned the plate and filled it also with casting resin. Anyway, I noticed already when filling that I had no calm patient hand guidance, so I quickly grabbed the glitter, wipe here and there and this came out. Quite interesting I find the 3D effect, which unfortunately can not be seen on the whole board. Otherwise, I still have to sand and polish the corners, then the game can begin.

Meine Schachbrettspiel aus Gießharz

Hallo ihr lieben, heute berichte ich euch von meinen selbsterstelltem Schachbrettspiel mit Gießharz. Es hatte mir große Freude gemacht und ich durfte wieder erneut lernen Geduld zu haben. Zuerst begann ich die weißen Figuren zu befüllen und das Schachbrettmuster zu begießen. Nach kurzer Zeit begann ich schon schwarze Farbe mit Gießharz zu verrühren, dabei hätte ich einfach nur Geduld haben müssen sonst hätten sich die Farben nicht so krass vermischt. Also beim nächsten Mal lasse ich erst eine Farbe trocken oder muss einfach ganz vorsichtig Kästchen für Kästchen befüllen.

Genauso hätte ich die kleinen Bauernfiguren langsam auffüllen müssen, so hatten nun einige keinen Kopf. Beim Aushärten hat es sich einfach zusammen gezogen. Und bei einem Bauern war doch Tatsächlich noch ein wenig weiß dabei, daher hat er so ein graues Gesicht bekommen.

Nach der Aushärtungszeit der einzelnen Schachbrett vierrecke drehte ich die Platte und befüllte sie auch mit Gießharz. Jedenfalls bemerkte ich schon beim befüllen das ich keine ruhige geduldige Handführung hatte, so griff ich schnell zum Glitzer, wische hier und da und das kam dabei heraus. Ganz interessant finde ich den 3D Effekt, der leider nicht auf dem ganzen Brett zu sehen ist. Ansonsten muss ich noch die Ecken schleifen und polieren, dann kann das Spiel beginnen.
